Stop being the after-hours phone line

In most fleets the owner is the out-of-hours support desk. The phone rings during dinner, on Sunday, on holiday, and it is usually a question the booking already answers.

Chat rather than a phone line, because it covers more languages than one desk can staff and the passenger can read it at their own speed. Anything typed stays attached to the booking.

What it does

Most of these are messages that go out on their own. The point is the call that never has to happen.

The questions that answer themselves

Confirmation, a reminder before the pickup, and a message when the driver is on the way. Three messages that remove most of what people ring about.

Whoever answers can see the job

The booking, the driver status and the message history are on one screen. Nobody has to say they will find out and call back.

More than one person can answer

Dispatchers and your support people work the same queue, so a passenger does not wait because one person is driving.

Nobody is left waiting

An alert goes to whoever is on duty when a passenger has been waiting for a reply. The failure mode of chat is silence, and this is what catches it.

In the language they wrote in

Written support carries languages a local phone line cannot. It is the practical difference for a fleet whose passengers are arriving from abroad.

Cover for the hours you cannot staff

Our operators answer your passengers in your name, overnight and at weekends. It is a separate service on top of the plan, and we agree the hours with you before it starts.

Who it is for

  • Owners who are still the phone number on the booking at midnight
  • Fleets meeting passengers off international flights
  • Companies where dispatch and passenger care are the same overworked person
  • Operators whose worst reviews are about not being reachable

Pricing context

Booking links, reminders and driver-arrived messages come with the €199 Dispatch plan. The Passenger support module adds live chat and the waiting-passenger alert. Having our operators cover your nights is a separate service, priced per booking covered.

Questions fleet owners ask

Do we have to publish a phone number?+

No. Chat can be the whole channel. For a fleet whose passengers arrive from several countries it usually works better than a number somebody has to ring from abroad.

What happens at 2am when nobody is awake?+

The automatic messages still go out, and the alert still fires. If you want a person answering at that hour, our operators do it in your name. It is a separate service rather than a switch you flip, so we agree the hours and the languages with you first.

Will passengers actually use chat?+

The ones with a question before the pickup do, because it is faster than a call and they can do it from a plane seat. The bigger effect is the messages that go out on their own, which remove the reason to make contact at all.

Does this replace our phone system?+

Only if you want it to. The phone module is separate: browser calling, local numbers, recordings and a call log against the booking. Plenty of fleets run both.

Can our own staff answer, or does it have to be you?+

Your staff, normally. Dispatchers and support people share the same queue. Our operators are for the hours you choose not to staff.

What does the passenger see?+

Your name, not ours. Confirmations, updates and the tracking page are branded as your company.

Is any of this included, or is it all extra?+

Booking links, reminders and driver-arrived messages are in the base plan. Live chat and the waiting alert are the Passenger support module. Overnight cover by our people is a service on top of that.

We read every one of these and come back within one working day. The questions are the ones we would ask on the call anyway.
