Never turn work down because you are a car short

Every fleet turns work away. The airport run at 6am when both cars are out, the second pickup on a wedding, the city you have no driver in. Those jobs do not have to go back to the customer as a no.

750+ fleet companies run their work on CBS, with 8,500+ active drivers between them. That is who is on the other end when you send a job out.

What it does

This is subcontracting — sending a job you cannot cover to another operator. It is not the free Partner membership, which is the other side of the same exchange and is how you receive work. Sending work out is in the base plan; the module adds the layer that tells you whether it was worth it.

Your drivers and your partners, one list

When you assign, your own drivers and the operators you work with are in the same list. You are not opening WhatsApp to find cover, and the job does not leave the system to get covered.

See the assign list

The job stays yours

The booking, the passenger and the price stay on your record. The partner gets what they need to drive it. Your customer deals with you, start to finish.

You can see what it cost you

What you charged, what you paid the partner, and what is left. A covered job that loses money is still a lost job, and you find out on the day rather than at month end.

A record of who actually turns up

Partners carry a score built from accepting, completing and keeping the app live. After a few months you stop guessing which ones to call first.

Cover in cities you do not run

A corporate client asking for a transfer where you have no driver is normally a no. With partners on the network it can be a yes you are able to stand behind.

And it works the other way

Fleets with spare capacity take work from operators who cannot cover it. That is the free Partner membership — the receiving side of this, a separate thing with a separate page, and the reason there is anyone to send a job to at all.

Who it is for

  • Fleets turning down work when every car is already out
  • Operators covering airports where demand spikes without warning
  • Companies with corporate clients who ask for cities they do not serve
  • Fleets already using subcontractors and tracking it in a spreadsheet

Pricing context

Sending a job to a partner is part of the €199 Dispatch plan, not an extra. The Subcontractor network module adds the commercial layer on top: margin per job, partner ratings and reconciliation. If you are a driver or a small operator wanting to receive work, that is the free Partner membership and it costs nothing.

Questions fleet owners ask

Who are these partners, and are they vetted?+

They are other transport companies and drivers on CBS. There is no verification queue yet, and we would rather say that than imply one. What you get instead is a record. Partners carry a score built from accepting, completing and keeping the app live, and you choose who to send to.

Does my customer find out I did not drive it?+

Only if you tell them. The booking, the price and the relationship stay yours. The partner sees the job they need to drive.

What stops a partner taking the client?+

Nothing technical stops a determined person, and a platform claiming otherwise is overselling. What is true is that they get the job, not your account, your pricing or your history with that customer. Most operators are already subcontracting to each other by phone, with far less recorded than this.

How do we agree the price?+

You do, with them. CBS shows what you charged and what you paid so the margin on that job is visible. It does not set the rate and takes no percentage of it.

Do I have to use partners at all?+

No. Plenty of fleets use CBS only for their own drivers and never send a job out. Nothing prompts you and nothing is switched on by default.

How is this different from an OTA taking a cut?+

An OTA sells the passenger and keeps a percentage. Here the work is yours, the price is yours, and there is no commission on it. What you pay for is the software, at a flat monthly price.

Can I be on the receiving end as well?+

Yes, and that is the free Partner membership. You get found by operators and agencies who need a car where you work, and you run what you receive through the same dispatch. No charge for it, and no commission on those jobs.

Will I get enough partner work to matter?+

We cannot promise that. It depends on demand in your cities, which we do not control. What we can tell you is how it works today: a person looks at who covers an area when work comes up and gets in touch. It is done by hand, not by an algorithm.
